Nuestro querido hermano el Padre José Sarduy ha partido a la casa del Padre. En la Misericordia de Dios estamos confiados de que ya el Padre eterno lo arropa en sus brazos.
El Padre Pepito Sarduy, como cariñosamente era conocido por todos, nos ha dejado una huella inolvidable, como maestro, formador, guía y pastor. En la Acción Católica camagüeyana sentó "cátedra"; como formador de jóvenes en la Pastoral Juvenil de la Diócesis, ya tiene en su haber generaciones de abuelos.
Como Rector del Seminario en Camagüey, también ha dejado una estela, en muchos ex-seminaristas, y en un grupo de jóvenes sacerdotes en quienes ponemos el futuro llenos de confiada esperanza. Descansa en paz hermano.
A todos nuestros hermanos de aquí, y a los que siguen siendo de aquí y están en otros lugares. Gracias hermanos por sus oraciones. Que Dios los bendiga
